Accepting these terms

These terms govern use of the Passway application and the passway.com.mx website.

By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use Passway.

The service is provided by Santos & Becker, Sociedad Civil, with registered address at Calle Prado Norte 135, offices 201 and 205, Lomas de Chapultepec III Sección, Miguel Hidalgo, Mexico City, ZIP 11000, Mexico.

What Passway is and is not

Passway is an organization tool: you record your documents and their expiry dates, and you receive reminders before they expire.

Passway is not an immigration authority, does not file paperwork for you, and does not replace checking requirements with the relevant authority, airline, or consulate.

Using the application does not by itself create a legal representation relationship with the firm. That relationship exists only when the firm accepts it expressly and in writing.

Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

You are responsible for protecting your credentials and for activity in your account. If you detect unauthorized access, report it immediately through the support channels.

You can delete your account at any time from the application.

Documents and content you upload

The documents, images, and data you upload remain yours.

You grant us only the technical permission needed to store them, show them to you, and operate the reminders you configured. We do not use them for any other purpose.

If you upload another person's document, you state that you have their authorization or the legal standing to do so.

Do not upload unlawful content or forged or altered documents.

Reminders

Reminders are an operational aid. They are calculated from the dates you enter.

Delivery depends on factors outside our control: device connectivity, notification permissions, your email provider's filters, and the accuracy of the data you entered.

Passway does not guarantee that you will receive a reminder, or that a reminder is enough to complete a procedure in time. Renewing your documents remains your responsibility.

Secondary contact

You can designate a person to also receive alerts about your expiry dates.

That person first receives a confirmation request and will only receive alerts if they accept. You can remove them at any time.

By designating them, you state that you are authorized to share their name and email with us.

The firm's professional services

If you request the firm's help from Passway, the scope, requirements, timelines, and fees are confirmed separately through the channels the firm indicates.

These terms do not govern that professional relationship and do not set fees.

Payments

The current version of Passway does not process payments inside the application.

If payments or subscriptions are enabled in the future, specific conditions will be published and you will be asked to accept them before activation.

Intellectual property

The Passway brand, its visual identity, the software, and the site content are protected under applicable law and may not be copied, modified, or distributed without written authorization.

The Passway trademark, the application and its source code are owned by Santos & Becker. You are granted a personal, limited, revocable and non-transferable license to use the application under these terms. The documents and information you upload remain yours; the license you grant us is limited to hosting them and displaying them to you within the service.

Availability and service changes

We work to keep the service available, but interruptions can happen due to maintenance, provider failures, or causes beyond our control.

We may modify, add, or withdraw features. If a change materially affects the service you use, we will tell you with reasonable notice.

Suspension and termination

We may limit or suspend access where there is misuse, a security risk, a breach of these terms, or a legal obligation.

Unless a security reason prevents it, we will tell you the reason and how to recover access or keep your information.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as is and we do not warrant that it will be free of errors or interruptions.

We are not liable for consequences arising from expired documents, cancelled travel, fines, visa refusals, or procedures not completed, where these result from incorrectly entered data, non-delivery of a notification for reasons beyond our control, or the decision not to verify information with the official source.

To the extent permitted by law, Santos & Becker's total liability arising from your use of the application is limited to the amounts you paid for the service during the 12 (twelve) months before the event giving rise to it; if the service was provided to you at no cost, that liability is limited to repairing the service. Nothing in these terms limits the rights Mexican consumer protection law grants you that cannot be waived.

Personal data protection

Processing of your data is governed by the privacy notice, which forms an integral part of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for product improvements, legal obligations, or operational changes.

The version in force will always be published on this page with its update date, and reachable from the legal section of the application.

If a change requires your acceptance, the application will ask for it before continuing.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Mexican federal law. For their interpretation and performance, the parties submit to the competent courts of Mexico City, waiving any other jurisdiction that might apply by reason of their present or future domiciles. If you are a consumer, this clause does not affect your right to turn to the federal consumer protection agency (PROFECO).

Nothing in these terms limits the rights that consumer protection law grants you and that cannot be waived.
